Thursday 28.7 was held a concert in the steampunk club in Prague by artists who were representing Czech Republic on a international music festival Slavic bazaar in Belorussian city Vitebsk.
And at the party after the singers return there was much to be celebrated. The competitors Michaela Gemrotová has brought home the Belorussian president‘s prize and in children category Nela Žáková finished on third place. Other singers that have participated on this event which is also called „eastern Eurovision„ have been received with standing ovations.
And so during the concert in Prague artists have shown their performances, for example child singer Nela Žáková, Hanna Pekhart or violinist Michal Hejč. The event was hosted by Vlasta Vébr, who also partook in hosing in Belarus during the Czech Day of Culture where he has shown his skills in Russian language. Singers who also appeared were: jako Jarek Šimek, Olga Lounová, David Deyl, Michaela Nosková, Elis Ochmanová, Zuzana Nová, Helena Hamplová, and cimbalom Lália.
„In Belarus i was most amazed by the great atmosphere and by the audiences reaction. It is beautiful to see how people experience culture“ Told us Hanna Pekhart, who has sung in Vitebsk, amongst others her son Nepoznám which she has also written.
Big thanks to the director of the organizing agency Nari Models Josef Cermak, who despite the lack of support from the Czech Ministry of Culture has managed to organize their departure. „Additional gratitude belongs to the partner of Czech delegation Mr. Radovan Panáček from Security agency RP and photographer Marián Juskanin for media support,“ told us Josef Čermák, who is already preparing other projects for the help of Czech Culture which we will enjoy in the future.
