Sshivani Durga , is a popular Indian spiritual guru and contestant of bigg boss season 11. She hold double Phd degree in Occultism from The University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, USA. She is also social worker and founder of few organization. Her concersation with international bit reporter are as follows:
- What do you do for a living?
My bread & butter , my passion and profession is same – Tantra / Occult. I offer reading and rituals.
- How would you describe what you do? What does your work entail?
What I do is not normal. Until few years back it was not easily accepted by the society in a positive way. People never believed Tantra has a positive side too. But I am happy that they know now.
- What’s a typical work week like?
I am mostly travelling to places to meet and understand the customs , cultures and how it can help society. I write , make videos , perform rituals and offer prayers on request and otherwise.
- How did you get started?
I wanted to be a Musician and a singer. But I was destined to be an Occultist.
- What do you like about what you do?
I like what I do. I love performing rituals and exploring areas. I love the dark side of it which is positive and powerful. But the world is unaware of that.
- What do you dislike?
Only one thing that I don’t like but it is misconceptions people carry and dont want to study about it.
- How do you make money or how are you compensated? What skills are needed to do this? What is most challenging about what you do?
It’s not the skills at first. Its the calling and then you work on it and become a skilled person. Important is to be ready for unexpected change.
Most challenging part is to make people understand the power and positivity of it.
Also , people want expensive treatments at the cost of nothing. I mean , people like us do a lot of hardwork , face criticism , give our positive energy to other and we are not even paid fairly for our hardwork.
- What is most rewarding?
Most rewarding is when people appreciate your hardworking and send gifts apart from the fee they pay for the work. I got recognition because of my field and that’s the most rewarding thing ever happened to me. I thank Goddess for that.
- What advice would you offer someone considering this career? How much time off do you get?
Those who wish to enter this field must think 10 times before putting a foot ahead. There is no going back. Once you have touched it you will be followed forever. You need to be extra strong headed to be on this path. You will experienced different phases and opposite to each other every time.
- What else would you like people to know about your career?
I never get an off ….I love my work , I get little off while travelling.
