1. How did you get into Event Management ?

I arrived in the event management  2014  with my fashion show « asian and European fashion week Paris »

I am a photographer, I was travelling a lot for my photoshoot. During my travels,  I meet a lot of people with many talent. And a lot of sri lankan people so I decide to create a event with many Sri Lankan designer to prove that they be in the fashion industry.

2. What was your first fulltime job?

My first full time job is photographer. I use digital cameras instead of the traditional film cameras. Digital cameras capture images electronically, so I can edit the image on a computer. Once the raw image has been transferred to a computer, photographers can use processing software to crop or modify the image and enhance it through color correction and other specialized effects.

A deep passion for photography is essential for success as a professional photographer. Without it, you risk being stuck in a difficult profession that you don’t enjoy… And your picture will feel it.

3. Please tell us about the toughest event you have organised?

Of course it’s my first event, I will never forget it… It’s my baby event. I was totally nervous – oh my god!

But you forget that when you see that all the sri lankan press speak about it.

The preparation of the show was intense but I do remember that my wife was here and always helping me with a lot of love.

I remember that a lot of people were here, I remember getting to the end of the runway and suddenly feeling self-conscious.

My designer have publicity and become famous because of my first event in Paris.

4. What was the first event you helped to organise?

I help to organise « miss elegant international » in France a big pageant with woman from all over the world. I did for the organisation, the sponsor.

5. What is the best advice you would give to someone who is thinking about going into event management?

STOP DOING IT!!

No I am joking, the best advice is to build a good team. And to never give up. Making event is not easy it’s a big work.

6. What does it take to be a good event manager?

To be a good event manager it’s take time. You need to do a lot of event and to work very hard and learnt of your mistake.

7. What is ur future plan as a own of biggest event management agency?
