(Published: 26.6.2016) As I promised, here is 2.part of my Travel blog about Luxor, where I will share with you all my experiences during the 3 days that I spent in this beautiful city, where you can feel history from almost every corner😊 I apologize that it took me such a long time since my 1.post🙈, but I had been really busy during my latest trip to Cairo & Alexandria & also in Dubai.. As I mentioned before, I went to Luxor for the occasion of first edition of Nefertiti International Fashion Festival 2016, where I was honored to be invited as a Special guest😋👸🏼👑

Luxor has been described as the world’s biggest open air museum. It’s one of the most popular destinations in Egypt, place that you really must see🙋 Especially if you are a lover of history😊🏛🕌❤️ It has been known that Luxor contains about a third of the most valuable monuments & antiquities in the whole world, which makes it one of the world’s most important tourism sites. Monuments such as The Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens.. And the list go on. I had the opportunity to stay for 3 days in this amazing city & here are my experiences through all the days😊🙋👸🏼❤️

1.day – 7.April: I arrived to Luxor in 7 April at the morning, which was later than planned🙈 Right after the arrival to the hotel media was already waiting for me in the lobby, I also met there with my manager Ivana Sojkova & my friend Beauty Queen from Slovakia Martina Stetiarova👸🏼👑👯 After media took photos, I was told that there are some charity events to attend. We went to visit few organizations together with International fashion designer Mona Al Mansouri, before going back to our hotel Sonesta St. George Luxor for the Press conference.

Press conference was attended by lot of important Egyptian & international media🎤 There were media from many Arabic countries, but also from Europe, such as Elle from Bulgaria or Harper’s Bazaar from France.. As a Special honored guest arrived to the Press conference also Sheikha Nura bint Hamad AlKhalifa from Royal family from Bahrain. After the conference I had several interviews🎤 before going for lunch😊🍴

I was soo tired after spending 24 hours at the airport, waiting in Doha for my connection flight to Luxor & no sleep all night that I must have drink so much green tea & Redbull that I can’t even count🙈 But I really appreciate the help of everyone from the organisation after the difficulties with missing my flight to arrange my new flight to be able to catch this important event on time. Thank you very much😊🙏

After lunch I went to start with preparations for the fashion show for make-up & hair💄💇 I had amazing make-up artist & I really loved my make-up💄 Then it was already time to change for the Red Carpet event.. I took with me from Dubai gorgeous gowns👗 from Mona Al Mansouri, which I had chosen already before going to Egypt, to make sure everything will fit properly. I decided to wear red dress with white flowers as red is my favorite color & it fitted the Red Carpet perfectly😊👗❤️

Official transport company of the festival took us to Luxor Temple, where the event was held. Luxor Temple is a large Ancient Egyptian Temple, which was constructed approximately 1400 BCE. I have to say that venue chosen for the festival was one of the most stunning venues that I have ever done a fashion show😍 It was amazing idea to combine history & fashion together while promoting tourism in Egypt😋👗🏯🕌 It was really magical feeling to be coming out to the stage straight from the middle of the entrance of the Temple between 2 seated gigantic statues of Ramesses😊❤️ Luxor Temple is definately a must place to see when visiting Luxor🙋

After taking photos on the Red Carpet, we went with Martina to the backstage to try our dresses for the show🙋👗 Martina was opening & I was closing the main fashion show of Mona Al Mansouri. I feel honored that I was chosen to wear closing dress inspired by the pyramids, through which I was carrying important message to the world: EGYPT, LOVE, PEACE & CIVILISATION. Message was written in English on the front of my dress & in Arabic on the back of my dress👗📝 Atmosphere during the show was really great😋

After the show it was time for Gala dinner in our hotel near the swimming pool😊🍴 After midnight I made cheers with my manager & Martina for my Birthday😋🍷 It was a long day, but I have enjoyed every part of it.. Now around 2 am after 48 hours of not sleeping🙈 it’s finally time for bed for me☺️ Tomorrow I can sleep until 10 am. Jupii🙋😴💤

2.day – 8.April: It’s my Birthday☺️👸🏼🙋😍🎂🎉❤️

Ring ring ring.. I feel I heard someone ringing, but I continue my sweet dreaming😋👼🏼💤 Riiiiiiing! I pick up the phone & it’s reception giving me wake up call. I think they must have wrong room number. Ring again!😱 This  time my manager Ivana is calling me. It’s change of the program,  they prepared historical tour for us around Luxor & I have to be down asap. Omg🙈 But when it comes to sightseeing, I am up as the first one😊🙋🏯🕌❤️ I quickly got ready & our sightseeing trip could start.

We took traditional boat Felluka on the river Nile🙋🚤 heading to our 1.location.. First monument that we visited were the famous gigantic statues which are known as the Colossi of Memnon. The 2 statues were built as a funeral temple for King Amenhotep III. In 27 BC there was a earthquake which made a damage in the statue, which causes a musical sound coming from the statues. The story says, that it’s the sound of Memnon – brave soldier who was killed during Trojan war. And from that time all the people that visit the statues can hear that sound😊🎼 That’s why the statues were named after him – Colossi of Memnon😋

Another stop of our tour was The Valley of the Kings😊👑 The Valley of the Kings is a valley in Egypt where for a period of almost 500 years tombs were constructed for the Kings of the New Kingdom. It’s divided to 2 parts – the East Valley and the West Valley. In the East Valley most of the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs can be found. Unfortunately it wasn’t allowed to take photos inside, only outside. We spent about 1 hour there exploring this stunning place😊

We ended our sightseeing trip in Hatshepsut Temple😋👸🏼🏛 The Temple of Hatshepsut is not only a memorial temple that honors Queen Hatshepsut, but it’s also one of the greatest Egyptian architectural achievements. It resembles the classical Greek architecture of 1,000 years later. The place looks really magical, it reminded me Acropolis in Athens😊🏛

There are soo many historical monuments to see in Luxor, that you will need few days to explore all of them. We only had a limited amount of time, but still got to see some of the most important ones🙋❤️

After sightseeing tour we headed back to our hotel by boat.. Soon after I was asked to come to the reception & I found out that we are going for another boat trip🙋🚤 There were my manager Ivana, my friend Martina, fashion designer Ivan Donev, some photographers, journalists & few more people.. Soon after we got on the boat, they brought the Birthday cake & I understood that this all was a surprise for me for my Birthday☺️👸🏼😍👯🎂🍴⛵️🎉❤️ They lighten up the candles & I made my wish😋🙏 People started singing Happy Birthday, they played Arabic music🎼, we danced👯💃 & everything was recorded by the video cameraman for the media.. I tried how to ride a boat😋🙋⛵️ I saw sunset from the boat, it was beautiful😊🌆🌄 I also had interview for Al Nahar TV channel there😋👸🏼🙋🎤🎬 My manager organized all this together with her friend Mohammed. Thank you soo much! It really made my day☺️🎉❤️

After I had to really rush🙈 to get ready for the Red Carpet & Awards Ceremony🏆 I changed into light pink evening gown with little roses applications👗🌹 by fashion designer Mona Al Mansouri, which I felt in like a Barbie😋👸🏼👼🏼 I made my hair into cute curls, wore my crown👑 & was good to go🙋 Driver took me & Martina to Luxor Temple, where the event was held. We got seated in the 1.row😋 We managed to come right on time, as the Awards ceremony was just about to start.. Congratulations to all the fashion designers & singers who received the awards🏆 During program we were entertained by several International & Arabic singers such as amazing French singer Dièse😊🎤

After the Awards ceremony we headed to Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa for Gala dinner🙋🍴🍷The general manager of the hotel welcomed us with some of the hotel staffs with a welcome drink🍹 & after series of photos taken, we went to the garden near the hotel pool, where Gala dinner was held. Amazing food, so much choices in the buffet, great cocktails😊🍴🍹🍸 Hotel surprised me with another Birthday celebration☺️🎂🎉👯 with Birthday cake & famous Arabic singers singing for me😋🎤 Thank you soo much❤️🙏 I loved the resort & hopefully I will get a chance to visit it again for a longer stay😊 Tomorrow my flight is at 6:30 pm, so I can finally get some much deserved sleep☺️😴💤👼🏼

3.day – 9. April: Today is a free day😊🙋❤️ I went for a breakfast with my manager Ivana & Martina🍴☕️ Then I was called by one journalist to come to the lobby & I got copies of several newspapers where I was featured. Yeyy😊👸🏼🙋📝🎉 Wow soo many☺️🙌 We were offered by the management of Hilton resort to come to Hilton again today to enjoy spa & pool, but unfortunately I realised that I won’t have enough time because I have a flight & still need to pack🙈 So after some time I left to start my packing.. I packed, went to say bye to everyone & it was already time to go to the airport🙋🚗

It was wonderful trip full of new experiences, beautiful places & amazing people.. I would like to say thank you to Ministry of tourism of Egypt & fashion designer Mona Al Mansouri for inviting me to this prestigious event😊🙏 I can’t wait to be back in Egypt again😋👸🏼🙋✈️
