1.How did you get in the sport?
My friend brought me to a club where she was training in Muay Thai women class . I tried and liked so decided to continue with classes and after while I went to beginning class and then advice classes as I like to challenge myself and see how far I can go.
2.Where are you training ?
I’m training in Jai Sua Muay Thai Bray, co Wicklow
3.Are you enjoying the sport?
Yes I like it and enjoying it , or I would not be training .
4.How long you training?
I am training in Muay Thai just over year
5.How did you prepare for the fight?
Lots of training has to be done, it’s like in every sport ,dance and etc. You can’t be good if you do nothing, you have to be push yourself to get best results.
I was struggling a bit as I needed to loose 6 kg in couple weeks. I found that was hard to loose weight in short space of time.
6.How you think you did in your fight?
I wasn’t 100% well but I think I did ok, as my 1st amateur fight I was happy with it. Of course I made plenty mistakes but that how we learn to be better next time.
7.Were you confident going into ring ?
Yes I was but also felt nervous inside. I think no matter how many time you stepping into ring you always have that worry inside you.
8.Did you feel you made any mistakes in the fight?
Oh I did, I saw video of myself and I saw where I making mistakes and where is my weakness that I need work more on.
Where do you think you need to improve? I need lots to improve working on kicks as that my weakest part but going to work on them and diffently going to prove to myself that I can be better than I was before.
Were you happy with the out come of the fight ? Yes I was happy as I had great experience to step into the ring with great opponent who have more experience and training longer than me.
Do you plan back in to ring? Differently I do cos I’m enjoying what I do.
