London, UK, 22 November 2018 – The next generation Range Rover Evoque was unveiled with an impressive display of capability in London’s creative hub, celebrating the global appeal of Land Rover’s best-selling compact luxury SUV.
British stars all came together for the launch, with Bodyguard star Richard Madden joining a host of famous faces on the red carpet, including Taron Egerton, Millie Mackintosh, Hugo Taylor and Mollie King.
Demonstrating the responsibly-sourced materials that are featured in the car, British Supermodel and activist, Adwoa Aboah wore a specially commissioned dress designed by British designer Ashley Williams, which was crafted using the vehicle’s ‘suede cloth’ textile, derived from 40 recycled plastic bottles.
Adwoa Aboah said: “This project has been fantastic to work on. I’m a huge fan of Range Rover and it’s been great to collaborate with a brand that is using responsibly-sourced materials. Working with so many on new trends and materials is a highlight of working in fashion so it’s been really interesting working with Ashley and use this suede material crafted from recycled plastics. Now more than ever it’s important to shine a light on the alternatives available, and the new Evoque is clearly influenced by the City and the people living in it.”
The new Range Rover Evoque is a sophisticated evolution of the original, combining unrivalled Range Rover heritage with cutting-edge technology. Designed, engineered and manufactured in Britain – it meets the needs of today’s customers.
Customers have the option to choose responsibly-sourced fabric for the interiors made from recycled polyester microfibres, from items such as plastic bottles – in fact the equivalent of 53 plastic bottles go into each vehicle specified with these seats.

For this unique launch, Land Rover collaborated with a number of fashion and technology brands to bring the design, innovation and sustainability characteristics of the new Range Rover Evoque to life.
British fashion house Mulberry reimagined sustainably-sourced eucalyptus interior material of the new Range Rover Evoque into a concept luxury travel collection inspired by the SUV. The new weekender bag shape is quilted with the car’s grille pattern and comes in two colour ways: Ebony with ebony trim, or ebony with Oxblood trim. Premium audio company, New York-based Master & Dynamic, created two bespoke concept Range Rover Evoque x Master & Dynamic MW07 Wireless Earphones. Each pair is made from handcrafted acetate inspired by the launch colours of the New Range Rover Evoque, featuring a bespoke grille pattern in copper and silver accents. The wireless earphones connect via Bluetooth to personal devices and are housed in a polished stainless steel wireless charging case to deliver the ultimate mobile listening experience.
