1) You have more then 68k followers on Intagram, tell me what about is your blog?
My Instagram page @itsyuliakay is about self-improvement, finding inner and outer balance, and raising awareness that our life is in our hands and we can positively influence its course through the choices we make.
I try to inspire my followers by sending a message of positivity and by sharing my fitness transformations.
2) You love Fitness, can you tell me how did you start and what does it mean “Fitness life” for you?
I started my fitness journey in 2015, one year after moving to Canada. I was a smoker, sedentary my whole life, and while not overweight, I had no to very little muscle and my cardiovascular health was sub par. My boyfriend (now my fiancé) was doing fitness competitions. When I told him I would like to get in shape, he showed me everything I needed to know. I learned how to eat and started going to the gym. It was hard at first but after a while, especially when I first noticed results, I got hooked. Now, physical exercise is an essential part of my life, not only for looks but also for the energy it gives me to go about my daily routine.
3) You love fashion, what is your favourite outfit and why?
My favorite outfit by far would be a dress and some nice heels!
4) What are you doing in your free time?
In my free time I mostly go to the gym, watch movies and read. I recently switched to Audio books which helps me being able to discover more books as I can multitask.
5) Do you have any plans for Winter holiday?
I just plan on spending some quality time with my family and friends. It’s getting really cold in Montreal in winter so there isn’t much to do outside which gives a perfect opportunity to relax, spend time with your loved ones and indulge in a few cheat meals 🙂
6) You are very nice woman, is there any trick how do you keep fit and sexy (if we will not talk only about fitness 🙂 ?
My trick is confidence! Just be yourself 🙂
Also having a few go to outfits that make you feel confident really helps.
In terms of fitness, my best advice would be focusing on your long term goals. Consistence and discipline are the key to success, there are no shortcuts in life so focus on what you want in the future not at the moment (like staying on the couch or eating unnecessary chocolate).
